This panel discussion is a pioneering collaboration between OBG and the University of Ulster School of Law, exploring, through reference to Sue Williams’ work, themes of gender and sexuality that intersect in art, culture and law.
Fearturing: Artist Sue Williams, Dermot Feenan (Lecturerin School of Law, University of Ulster, where he teaches and researches on gender, sexuality and the law), Professor Valerie Walkerdine(Professor of Social Sciences, University of Cardiff, specialising in research on gender and childhood). Chaired by Marie Louise Muir, BBC Radio Ulster.
Jake and Dinos Chapman: My Giant Colouring Book
Workshop: My Greatest Fear
Friday 13th May 6pm – 9pm
Share your greatest fears and phobias with a new group of people to create a large scale piece of art work. This fun and lively workshop is inspired by the nightmarish imagery from the work of the Chapman brothers. Artist Robin Cordiner will host this event and employ a range of basic printing techniques to make the final piece. THis workshop costs £3 and no experience is necessary.
