Film is a notable and continuous influence in McFeely’s work and as part of this exhibition the artist has selected 2 films that will be shown in OBG which have inspired and informed his work.
14/4/2010 7pm/ Free: Inland Empire, (2006), Dir. David Lynch. Cited as a film that isn’t watched as much as experienced, this intense and surreal tale loosely follows an actress who comes to Hollywood in search of stardom and delves into an exploration of the subconscious.
28/4/2010, 7pm/Free : Come and See (1985) Dir Elem Klimov. A Soviet war film and psychological horror drama about the Nazi German occupation of the Belarussian SSR.
